In Malaga, we have several rooftop bars where you can enjoy a drink with a beautiful view. We have made a list for you with 5 rooftop bars where we like to have a drink ourselves and where we also like to go when our family and friends visit.
AC Marriott
We start right off with the tallest rooftop bar in the city called AC Marriott. This gives you a beautiful and good view of the entire city. On one side, you have views over the port, the park and the sea and on the other side, you look out over the centre of Malaga and the mountains. At this rooftop bar, it is also possible to have dinner. For this, we do recommend making reservations ahead of time.
Batik
Rooftop bar Batik has 2 different seating areas. On the left side are high tables with stools, here you have a beautiful view of the Alcazaba. To the right is a kind of lounge area where you can also sit at low tables on sofas. At Batik, it is only possible to have a drink on the top floor, the fifth floor. It is however possible to have a delicious meal at Batik, for this you will have to go to the 4th floor. Again, we recommend making reservations.
H10 hotel
The rooftop bar at the H10 Croma hotel is a large terrace. You have the choice of sitting at high tables, but there are also benches you can sit on. Here again, you have great views over the city of Malaga and especially the sunset can be seen beautifully from this terrace. The cocktails they serve here are definitely recommended 😉
Room mate Valeria
Room Mate Valeria ‘s rooftop bar is one of our favorites. This rooftop bar is a little lower than the rooftop bars we mentioned above but certainly as fun to go to. You overlook the port of Malaga here and the service is always good!
Terraza San Juan
Terraza San Juan is perhaps a little less known among tourists. This is because, unlike the roof terraces mentioned above, this one is a bit more sheltered. You can’t see from the outside here that there is a rooftop bar. Nevertheless, we definitely want to name this one in our list because it is a beautiful bar overlooking the bell tower of the church of San Juan. Nice rooftop bar, great music, delicious drinks and good service!
